My first Englisch letter... (only kidding)
So, this week I had quit my lessons with Raymond (“my private torture“– or as he calls himself „its majesty“; because his name is Raymond King ;-) . These lessons were quite expensive and on the other hand I have a lot of work especially some projects as well as preparing my two months of “holiday” at work. But I hope I’m able to continue my lessons after Canada.
After a few months of more or less intensive learning English I think I can’t write or speck good enough for a four-week-working-placement abroad. I’m also fearfully that I actually have to practice a little bit of grammar at school.
So, it’s better to stop writing in English now - otherwise it will be embarrassingly I guess.

Hi Daniel, Yes you do good writing in English. Wish I could do that good in German. One of my nephews moved to Germany about a year ago with his wife and daughter. He was learning German so he could get a better job there.
I noticed your comment on Lifelessions blog. Like her, I am older- 74 yrs old. But, I am much luckier as I am still able to make items in my Wood Shop.
I know so little about Germany , but wish I knew more now that my grandson is living there.

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
